AERO Tracker
The AERO TRACKER is a portable eConspicuity device designed for small aircraft and general aviation.
It transmits and receives traffic positions via air-to-air technologies (ADS-B (RX-only), ADS-L, OGN, FANET).
Complementary LTE provides traffic from more than 30 sources, including the SafeSky app, FLARM, Mode-S, PilotAware, navigation apps, paragliders hardware and drones.
The LTE functionionaly requires a subscription at SafeSky.
There is now the option to receive FLARM air-to-air. For this a software license is required to be purchased individually.
With the latest firmware non-directional Mode S targets are received where the distance is estimated by the signal strength.
The Battery version contains a 4000mAh battery that provides a runtime of about 12h.
The Master-On version does not contain a battery and is switched on/off by the external power, which is supplied to the USB-C socket (5-15V).
